The new Bella Kai (or "beautiful food") food market, is a multimillion dollar fresh-food market at North Road in Invercargill.

The outlet stocks quality locally grown produce, including organic vegetables and fruit. Most of the food is sourced from small-scale Southland and Otago producers, with European, Asian and gluten-free food coming from further afield. Some products are from overseas, but are more the delicatessen-type goods that could not be sourced in New Zealand.

Signal was engaged to manage the design and construction of the project, with completion in early October 2010.

The 800m2 building which houses the retail outlet, commercial kitchen and packaging/storage areas was completed in 5 months along with extensive onsite infrastructure services, car parking and landscaping which were requirements which were set out in the Resource Consent.
