The village of Luggate is located 10 minutes drive from the lakeside town of Wanaka. It is well placed to provide easy access to ski fields, walking, tramping and mountain biking tracks and recreational fishing and lake activities.
Signal has managed a multi-million dollar staged residential development for Luggate Holdings Limited, owners of a 77ha property formerly known as "Luggate Farm".
Signal was responsible for all aspects of this project. This includes planning and statutory approvals, management of infrastructure design, project financial management, procurement and tender strategies and management of construction.
Three stages of the development have been completed providing 93 residential allotments ranging from 800m2 to 4,000m2 in size.
As Luggate has no existing reticulated sewerage system, a new treatment plant for up to 255 homes has been constructed on the site. The existing farm irrigation system is being used to provide an irrigation supply for the larger sites. This will save precious treated water from the Council water scheme.
Resource consent has been granted for two subsequent stages of the Luggate Park development. These stages will add a further 162 allotments of varying sizes, substantial reserves, parks and walking/cycling tracks and a sports field.
