Threepwood is located on the western shore of Lake Hayes, near Queenstown. An area rich in history, this exclusive development incorporates 42 residential sites in a traditional working farm. The sites are split between the Ladies Mile and Slope Hill areas. Both afford residents spectacular views of the outstanding countryside.
Signal managed the $10m conversion of Threepwood from a high country station to high quality residential farm park. Signal was responsible for all aspects of the project, including planning and statutory approvals, management of infrastructure design, project financial management, procurement and tender strategies and management of construction.
Substantial roading and services infrastructure were required to create the 42 residential sites. An extensive ecological restoration programme has also been put in place. A community pavilion and tennis court has also been constructed.
The original Threepwood Homestead (built in 1909) will be completely transformed into a luxury lodge. The exterior will retain its links with the past following an authentic restoration, while the interior will house a library, restaurant and bar.
Extensive design controls will ensure that each property within Threepwood will merge into the surrounding environment.
Threepwood will offer residents a unique life style experience. It will provide the opportunity to mix the close proximity of a working farm in which residents will have an individual interest, lake and mountain views, biking and walking tracks, lakeside fishing and Queenstown with all its charm and cosmopolitan air.
