Following completion of a Condition Assessment and 10 Year Property Plan by Signal the school Board of Trustees secured $1.2M in funding from the Ministry of Education for the redevelopment of following facilities:

• Tait Block: conversion of this single storey, three classroom block, to provide specialist music and drama suites and;
• Harper Library: conversion of the library to a modern style information centre including multi-media, computer and research facilities complimented by a concurrent lighting and heating upgrade.

Signal were engaged by the Board to provide project and construction management services for the project.

Following a rigorous concept design process, construction of the re-development commenced in the third quarter of 2013. Both the Tait Block and Harper Library were closed during construction with essential classroom / library functions being transferred elsewhere on the school campus.

The re-developed facilities were completed and available for occupation for the start of Term 1 2014, as programmed.
